This video shows the orbit of the newly discovered asteroid 2023 DW and its approach to the Earth on February 14, 2046. You can also see the approach of this asteroid to Venus.
The calculation used preliminary initial data of the orbit of asteroid 2023 DW, which at the moment are not very accurate. Therefore, the conclusions obtained in this video and the forecasts of the approach are approximate. There is a risk of asteroid 2023 DW colliding with Earth on February 14, 2046.
The diameter of the asteroid is estimated at several tens of meters. Its collision with the Earth can lead to a regional catastrophe. The power of the collision explosion will be comparable to the power of the explosion that occurred during Tunguska event in 1908.

Modeling and rendering were performed using own software. The calculations took into account the mutual influence of the Sun, all the planets of the Solar System, the Moon and the asteroid on each other. Relativistic effects were also taken into account in the calculation.
